The Dayara was founded by Pulikottil Joseph Mar Dionysios in 1868.and in 1875 Ramban Geevarghese Karuchira developed it into a Dayara.

The Dayara was started by Metropolitan Puthencavu Geevarghese Mar Philexinos of Thumpamon diocese in 1938.

The Othara  Dayara was founded on the land donated to the Church by Thottapurath T. K. Alexander.  in 1944.

Fr. E. Mathews served as its Superior for a long period.
Thomas Mar Athanasios,  the Metropolitan of Chengannoor Diocese holds the main charge.

The beginning of today's Dayara started here in 1125 with the installation of one of the crosses of Mulanthuruthy Church.  In 1809 the younger Bava of Kattumangattu family was interred here. 
Parumala Thirumeni was consecrated here as Metropolitan. on 10 December 1896. 
On 10 December 1976 the Holy Relics of Parumala Thirumeni were interred here.

  MAR KURIAKOSE DAYARA:  PAMPADY

The Dayara was founded by Kuriakose Mar Gregoriosin 1909. 

K.G.College, B.M.M. English Medium Central School, I.T.C., M.G.M. Abhayabhavan, Mar Gregorios Balabhavanan are functioning under the Dayara.
